What we do

Community & Volunteer Support

Overview

We work with volunteers, community groups and partner organisations to raise awareness of overheating, support public engagement activities and strengthen local heat resilience.

What we do

Communities play a vital role in adapting to increasing temperatures. We are developing a national network of volunteers and partners who can support awareness campaigns, community events, festivals and local initiatives that help people stay safe during hotter weather.

As our organisation grows, we also hope to support local heat resilience projects, encourage citizen participation and provide opportunities for people to contribute to meaningful climate adaptation work.

Our approach

Preparing for hotter weather is not something that organisations can achieve alone. By working together and sharing knowledge locally, communities can become better equipped to respond to heatwaves and protect those most at risk.
